Jessica Bradley

Jessica Bradley (never just Jessica, always Jessica Bradley) was just so cute and we were waiting for my mom while she was in the camera store so we decided to do a mini photoshoot. She was so cute and here is what we got!

Yey for the Space needle and Seattle!

October 11, 2008

My sister's wedding went so perfectly. She looked so beautiful and so happy. We are so glad to welcome Swavek into our family. I really would like to have had my camera more throughout the day, but I was trying to get stuff done for my sister so that she didn't have to worry about it. I wanted their day to be wonderful and not stressful in any way. So I did the stressing for them! Here are some of the pictures that I took right after they were married:

This is Swavek's father, I am not even going to attempt to spell his name!
My awesome parents!
Cute Jenni-Bobo
My cousin Keestan who is getting so tall!

I wanted a few pictures that I didn't think were on the photographer's list. So I handed the camera to my mom and had her snap a few shots. Here is the Andersen Trio.
And the best sisters of course!

After so much wedding planning I wasn't sure how the wedding would go, but it was beautiful and so fun!

The Harbor Cruise

Thursday, October 16, 2008

My sister got married this weekend. Everything went so well and she looked so happy. It was hard to be the sister and maid of honor when I just wanted to have my camera and take some awesome photos! She looked gorgeous and spent an insane amount of time putting her wedding together. She planned every little detail so carefully. I am so jealous of her photographer Kelli Nicole. Kelli did such a good job and was so fun to have as part of the wedding. Jenna, my sister, planned an entire weekend because her new in-laws came all the way from Poland. I had my camera for the day before when we went on a cruise around the harbor in Seattle. Here are some of the shots that I got.

Here is a shot of Jenna and Swavek being a cute almost newlywed couple. I love Jen's hair here!

This is actually my parents. They are so stinking cute! I love the fact that my mom has her head on my dad's shoulder. I also love that my dad looks so happy, he doesn't like his picture taken very much, but he looks so genuinely happy here. This is gorgeous Megan one of the bridesmaids. She always has awesome sunglasses on.
This is actually Kelli (the photographer) and Jenna doing a self portrait. Classic for both of them.

Nick is looking GQ as he always seemed to be.
The bride & groom
Are they not the cutest?!
Jenna loves 8mm... and looks like a pro!
Ameilia is my cousin's 1 year old daughter. She is so cute but it takes a while for her to warm up to people. I tried all weekend to be her friend, but most of the time she wouldn't even look at me!

Before & After

Here are some more before and after shots!

Kimmy & Jackson

These are the engagements of my good friend Kimmy and her fiance Jackson. I love Kimmy, she is so fun! Plus she is the best hairstylist! I wanted to fly down to Utah this summer just so she could cut my hair! I didn't know Jackson as well, but this shoot was such a great opportunity to get to know him better. Plus they were just so fun and open to creativity!

Christensen Wedding

Wednesday, September 17, 2008

My first wedding down here in Utah was much different then I expected! I had moved back to Utah the day before the wedding and the day that I got here I drove around trying to find a place to live. It is difficult to find housing by BYU. As an undergraduate you can only live within approved housing that is within a certain radius, so as you can imagine it limits housing options. I finally signed a contract in the evening and convinced them to let me move my stuff in early even though we did not have beds in our rooms yet! I slept in my friend's LoveSac and was surprised that I slept so well because I was so nervous! My sister Jenna came with me to help me so that I wouldn't be as nervous, and she was awesome! We went to Bountiful for the brunch which was nice because it gave me time to 'warm up' and get in the mode.
This little girl was so cute and whenever I was anywhere near her she would always look at me.
This is actually one of my best friends and her husband just got back from Iraq, so they are like newlyweds all over again. They constantly tried to steal the show from the bride & groom ;)
The groom's sister pulled me aside and asked me to take some photos of her daughter and her. Then after the brunch we headed up to the Bountiful Temple where the ceremony was to take place.
The bride and groom came out glowing with happiness.

After the everyone congratulated them and family pictures were done, we took a few portraits.
So after the ceremony we headed from Bountiful to Provo to the reception... one little problem.... I got in a car accident. I got hit so hard from behind that I hit the car in front of me as well. Most of the damage was sustained in the rear of my vehicle, my back axle was even broken! I love my car so I cried, but luckily my friend (the groom's sister) was behind us and stopped and waited for all the police work to be done and my car to be towed away so that she could give us a ride.
I had so much adrenaline from the accident that I didn't realize how badly my neck was hurting until we were almost to the reception site. But I was photographing a wedding, which only happens once, so I was going to wait for the reception to end before I went to the hospital.

There was the traditional cutting of the cake, and the first dance and then...
The Bride and her brothers put on a performance which they did Tahitian dancing which was awesome to watch!

My sister Jenna and I took a picture of us after our super long day. We no longer have makeup on... thank goodness for our Andersen skin!
